The Global Energy Race by Dempster’s

As part of Dempster’s commitment to nurture the well-being of Canadians, Bimbo Canada (formerly Canada Bread) is thrilled to invite families, competitive runners, and non-professional runners (10k or 3k) to be part of the third annual Global Energy Race, a one-of-a-kind event in Toronto, at Ashbridges Bay Park. Come out, take part, and enjoy complimentary Bimbo Canada products before and after the race, entertainment, giveaways, and activities for the whole family.

Participants of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign-up. Registration is $30 for the 10K run and $20 for the 3K family walk/run. Children 16 and under are free. Register online by September 21.

This event supports the North York Harvest Food Bank. For every kilometer completed by participants, two slices of bread will be donated to the Food Bank.

The top finishers in the male and female categories with the best registered time in the 10K race will win a trip for themselves and a guest to participate in the 2019 Global Energy Race in Madrid, Spain. Additional prizes will be awarded on race day.
