Kids of all ages are invited to get into costume and join in for some fun and spooky happenings in Riverside this Halloween. The free Halloween fest starts with face-painting and crafts at Nell & Natasha’s (807A Queen St. E.) with a haunted house and pumpkin carving at Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre (870 Queen St. E.) from 1:30 -3:30 pm. A drumming workshop by Kidz n’ Treble (807A Queen St East) – space for 20 kids from 2:30-3:15 pm, and a kids’ costume parade starting at 3:30pm at Nell & Natasha’s, with treats from businesses along Queen Street.
Admission is free. Registration is not required but is encouraged so organizers can account for the number of participants.
