Celebrate the lives of the departed at Harbourfront Centre’s 16th annual Dìa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival. Explore celebrations from Mexico, and other areas of Latin America, with handcrafted ofrendas (altars), as well as a Mexican marketplace, Mexican cuisine workshops, concerts, and family activities like the quintessential la catrina face painting and the Catrina Parade, and skull painting and skull mask making crafts.
In addition to the free festivities inside, the public is invited to celebrate the legacy of lost loved ones with a large outdoor ofrenda.
