Meet the Easter Bunny at Toronto’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt

Holidays

This month, Centreville and Far Enough Farms on Centre Island open for a special pre-season event: the Easter EGGstravaganza, taking place Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16.

This popular annual event features Canada’s largest egg hunt, with brightly coloured eggs hidden throughout Centreville and Far Enough Farms. Kids find eggs and exchange them for prizes from Lindt, Play-Doh, and more. Before the egg hunt, kids can decorate an Easter basket for egg-collecting. Basket-decorating is by donation, and the proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

If that’s not enough egg hunting (or enough chocolate) for your little ones, the Lindt Gold Bunny Scramble takes place every 30 minutes. This mini egg hunt will take place in an enclosed area, with eggs hidden in haystacks and around hay bales, with separate hunts for kids ages 7 and under and 8 and up.

Don’t miss the Easter Bunny and Beasley Bear at the main egg hunt—they’ll be around throughout the day for pictures with kids. On Friday, iPhotoLounge will host a free photo booth, with pictures printed on-site.

In addition to Easter activities, a selection of rides will be running at Centreville, including kid favourites Mine Coaster, Bee Ride, Fire Engines, Kiddie Boats, and Rockin’ Ferry.

Centreville Easter Eggstravaganza | Help! We've Got Kids
Right next door to Centreville, Far Enough Farms will have baby chicks and bunnies along with other farm animals. Kids can pet the animals and see daily feedings—and even milk an artificial cow!

While you’re on the islands, you might want to take a walk or ride (bring your bikes!) along the pedestrian-only pathways to Franklin Children’s Garden or one of the island’s beautiful beaches.

The Easter Egg-stravaganza takes place on Centre Island April 14–16, 11 am–4 pm. Accessible by ferry from 9 Queen’s Quay West (see ferry schedule). Tickets are $15/person. Tickets are limited, so we recommend you buy tickets online; use promo code EASTER to get a free ferry ride.
