Barrie Culture Days

The City of Barrie is proud to celebrate Culture Days, a Canada-wide celebration designed to catalyze and inspire public participation in arts and culture from September 27 to 29, 2019.

Culture Days is a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. The first Culture Days was held in September 2010 in over 700 Canadian cities and towns and was a great success.

Annually, Barrie Culture Days offer a behind-the-scenes look at the arts through a variety of activities and programs. These initiatives promise to bring you a weekend of amazing cultural activities that will be sure to teach you something new, pique your creative interest, and expand your perception of the arts forever.
