Wednesday, March 18 – Visions of Turtle Island with Tribal Vision

Explore First Nations history and confront stereotypes in this high-energy, multidisciplinary performance showcasing powwow-style singing and dancing. Vision of Turtle Island is a multidisciplinary performance blending First Nations singing and dancing traditions with a multimedia presentation.

Thursday, March 19 – Together! A Global Music Experience with KUNÉ

Created through The Royal Conservatory of Music as a celebration of Canada’s cultural diversity and pluralism, Kuné showcases their traditional knowledge of music from Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America. Guests will have the opportunity to see and experience the Sitar, the Oud, the Cajon, the Dizi, the Ngoni and many more.

Friday, March 20 – Canada Needs You! with Mike Ford

Mike Ford takes audiences on a break-neck tour of Canadian history through explorers’ tales, First Nations lore, the War of 1812, rebellions, early English-French relations, Confederation and a decade-by-decade examination of the country’s explosive 20^th Century. Journey into the nation’s past across multiple viewpoints in story and song!
