Polar Express Train Rides

JOURNEY TO THE NORTH POLE! Join a magical trip where York-Durham Heritage Railway will be providing service to the North Pole, onboard THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride this holiday season.

The magical story comes to life starting in enchanted Christmas tent with a magical tree lighting. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack with singers and dancers, passengers will relive the magic of the story.

Hot chocolate and treats are served as passengers read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Santa and his helpers greet passengers at the North Pole and then board the train, where everyone is given the first gift of Christmas. Pajamas for children of all ages is encouraged!
