Sugarmaker’s Breakfast

Event Details

This event finished on 01 March 2020

Tuck into a hearty pancake breakfast by the wood stove followed by a wagon ride and tour of Mountsberg’s 150-year-old sugar bush. Learn about the rich history of maple sugaring, how to identify different species of maples, and then learn how to tap a tree in the sugar bush and hang your own bucket.

Each family will receive a bottle of fresh Ontario maple syrup to take home as a souvenir of their visit. Guests can head straight home to search for trees of tappable size on their property, or plan to stay all day to enjoy all the festivities in Maple Town, the family friendly barnyard, and renowned Mountsberg Raptor Centre.

Register in advance for 9:30 & 10:30 am seatings.
