Maple Town

Event Details

This event finished on 05 April 2020

For more than 40 years, Maple Town has kicked off the maple syrup season in southern Ontario. Each weekend from late February through early April, explore the Mountsberg Conservation Area Sugar Bush to see historical and modern methods of tapping, collecting, and boiling sap to make syrup.

Take in a maple candy making session, or travel on a horse-drawn ride through the bush to learn about this special forest. Climb, jump, and run in the Play Barn and see birds-of-prey demonstrations in the Raptor Centre on the hour between 11 am and 3 pm. Finish off your visit with a stop at the Pancake Pavilion for a plate of flap jacks covered in pure maple syrup. A real Canadian tradition!

Maple Town only runs on weekends, holidays, and during March Break.
