This indoor climbing and bouldering gym in Markham is open to kids and adults for drop-in climbing, climbing camps, lessons, and birthday parties. It has an augmented reality climbing wall where you can play digital games as you climb.
Bouldering (ages 8 and up) and auto-belay climbing are available. The gym has 22 auto-belays ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Climbers must be at least 30 pounds. Harnesses and shoes are available to rent.
Hub Climbing in Markham has both climbing lessons and climbing clubs for kids and teens. You can sign up for introductory bouldering lessons or introductory top rope (belay) lessons.
Or, register for six- to eight-week youth climbing clubs after school or on weekends to progress in climbing, either on the Youth Development Team (ages 6–18) or the Yough Recreational Team (ages 10–14). Programs are available for beginner and experienced climbers.
Supervised group climbing is available as a field trip option for schools and community groups.
