About Albion Hills Conservation Area

A 486-hectare conservation area in the Peel Region with sandy beaches, and more than 50 km of trails for biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Great for swimming, mountain biking, camping, picnics, cross-country running, and for hosting events like weddings or corporate gatherings.

Fat tire bike rentals are available in fall. In summer, visit the Lakeview Splash wading pool and splash pad with wetland-themed water features, which operates using state-of-the-art water conservation technology. In winter, the conservation area is popular for cross-country skiing, with 26 km of groomed trails suitable for beginner to expert-level skiers. Ski equipment rental is available.

Inside the conservation area, the Albion Hills Field Centre is an environmental education facility that offers weekend programs for kids, weekday field trip programming for schools and groups, and summer day camps and overnight camps.
