Spring is on the way and it’s time to celebrate Easter. There are tons of fun events and activities happening in Toronto and the GTA, so we put together a list of 20 fun ways to celebrate Easter with your family, from now until the end of the long weekend!

Head to Upper Canada Mall for photos with the Easter Bunny.

2. Lindt Canada Family-Friendly Event – FREE

Lindt Chocolate Canada is hosting a family Easter event, where they will donate $1 to the Children’s Aid Foundation for every download of the brand new storybook app, written by award-winning Canadian author Ashley Spires. You can enjoy a reading of the story by the author herself, real-life scenes from the book, colouring stations, and photo opportunities.

3. Easter Egg Painting – Family Workshop

Create your own personalized pysanky (Easter eggs) at the Todmorden Mills Heritage Site using traditional wax resist techniques.

4. Brooks Farms Easter Fest Egg Hunt

Brooks Farms invites you to their Easter Fest Egg Hunt! Each kid gets their own Easter basket, so they can collect plastic eggs from the Barnyard Playland, and then trade them in for chocolate afterwards. You can also enjoy a fun scavenger hunt, or their maple syrup festival.

5. High Park Easter Egg Hunt

Come join the outdoor egg hunt and then enjoy some other fun activities, such as dyeing eggs with natural dyes in the historic kitchens, making bunny-themed crafts, face painting, explorations of Colborne Lodge, and a visit from our friend the Bunny.

6. Good Friday Maple Syrup Festival

Visit the Westfield Heritage Village for some old-fashioned fun on Good Friday. In addition to their Maple Syrup Festival, this day provides extra fun with traditional games, crafts, and activities that will delight children and their families throughout the day.

7. Kidnetix 10th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Join Kidnetix for their 10th Annual Easter Egg Hunt where you can hunt for Easter candies in the indoor playground, meet Hunny the Easter bunny, make some Easter crafts, and participate in Easter activities, prizes, and giveaways!
