Museums and Exhibits

Family Sundays at the Art Gallery of Ontario take place every Sunday from until the end of April, with interactive, innovative family activities. Always on at the AGO is the Kids’ Gallery, a special space with exhibitions for little eyes and hands.

A visit to the Royal Ontario Museum to see the dinosaur bones and to brave the Bat Cave is always fun. But the ROM also has hands-on galleries just for kids, Mom&Me sessions to include little ones, and sleepovers, too.

There’s always something on for kids at the Ontario Science Centre, like IMAX films, sleepovers, and planetarium shows, but currently you can travel back in time to learn all about prehistoric life at Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age or learn the science behind the circus at Circus! The Exhibition.

The new Children’s Discovery Centre is a play-based learning centre and museum for kids ages 6 and under. Encourage imaginative play and art through hands-on exhibits. The pilot project was extended until May 31, 2016.
