About Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS)

The Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS) is a club for girls aged 7 to 16 that supports interest in science, technology, trades, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Local CAGIS chapter members meet monthly to explore STEM with fun, hands-on activities led by experts in a variety of STEM fields. These monthly events often occur at the workplaces of STEM experts, giving girls a behind-the-scenes view and allowing them to experience the lab and field environment for themselves.

CAGIS Virtual brings STEM into your home with weekly, hands-on, live sessions led by real experts and a certified teacher. Sessions explore a new topic each week with fun virtual and hands-on activities like extracting DNA from a strawberry, creating a mobile app, making glow-in-the-dark slime, and more.
