Scratch

Scratch is a programming language and online community designed to teach kids ages 8–16 to code. It is free and available worldwide.

Scratch provides kids ages 8 through 16 with a free learn-to-code platform where they can create their own interactive stories, games, and animations, and can share them with others.

Scratch is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.
