NBS Sharing Dance Day 2020 Online

Event Details

This annual, interactive dance event from the National Ballet of Canada is open to all. No experience is required — just learn the choreography and join the live (virtual) event! Or, if you prefer not to dance yourself, you can just tune in to watch the performance on May 29.

This year’s event will be a national digital broadcast to celebrate the joy, creativity and community of dance. Using your digital device, dance along with Canadian artists as they share and teach a diversity of dance styles, introduce you to new music rhythms, and more.

No dance experience is required. Just learn the Sharing Dance choreography through step-by-step videos. Seated options and supporting educational resources are avaiable.

This year’s work is created by Canadian choreographer Jera Wolfe and explores themes of community and supporting each other when we need it most.

An online kick-off workshop will be posted on Instagram @NBS_ENB on May 14.

The May 29 event time is TBD.
